Q: What was your “Aha” moment that made you choose to join Blinds.com?
To be honest I had two, one was bigger than the other though. My first “Aha” moment was the second I stepped off of the elevator to interview for the first time. The atmosphere completely hooked me. My second, bigger “Aha” moment was when our awesome CEO Jay came in to introduce himself to my training class. I remember thinking that he is someone I could really learn from, I was definitely right!
Q: Which of the core values influences you the most in your life and why?
That would without a doubt be Experiment Without Fear of Failure! It is influential to me because when I am not wearing my customer service cape, I am an artist. Any artist knows that some of your most beautiful masterpieces come from pure experimentation. The fact that my company encourages that in our everyday life is just awesome to me.
Q: What’s your favorite flavor of cake that you’ve eaten at the Blinds.complex?
Actually, I’m going to have to be that one person and say that I’m not too into cake. BUT, I am a huge fan of the cookies that our awesome IT guru bakes and passes out randomly!
Q: What’s some advice you’d give to someone who is considering being a part of the team?
BE YOURSELF! We will eventually bring out your unique quirks and weird habits so just let it happen.
Q: Describe your relationships with other Blinds.commers. What’s the environment like?
Oh, you mean my family? I’d say it’s pretty amazing. Every single person I have met here has helped me grow in some way or has taught me something valuable that I will take with me from here on out. It’s like this little community of people who are just as goofy and unique as I am and I love it.
Q: What makes your Monday awesome?
Actually they are kind of sad because I don’t work on Monday. But my Tuesdays are awesome because I get to not only see my awesome team, but also talk to some pretty cool people on the phone as well!
