Q: What was your “Aha” moment that made you choose to join Blinds.com?
Before interviewing I did a little bit of cyber stalking. Reading reviews on Glass Door, watching videos on their company website and checking out their Instagram. No matter where I looked the theme was consistent, a fun company culture with a focus on their employees. My “aha” moment was when I went to their Instagram account. Unlike most companies who dedicate their accounts to their products and services Blinds.com’s account featured their employees. From random photos of an employee wearing a Tigger costume just because it was a Tuesday, to their new hire initiations which often included a song and dance. I just knew this was a place I could call home.
Describe your relationships with other Blinds.commers. What’s the environment like?
I don’t think that I have ever worked at a company where all of the employees actually live the core values. I love that everyone feels comfortable speaking their minds even if it might go against the majority, and I love it even more that everyone respects that opinion.
Q: How would you describe Blinds.com in three sentences or less?
This is a fast paced environment that pushes you to be better than you ever thought you could be.
