Q: What was your “Aha” moment that made you choose to join Blinds.com?
My “Aha” moment that caused me to join the Blinds.com team came when I saw the reactions to the demo project I did for my application. I was excited to see that the HR team was looking at data and metrics, but let’s just say I had a LOT of constructive criticism. The team not only embraced my criticisms, but seemed genuinely excited to implement some of my ideas and let me run with them. That pretty much sealed the deal for me!
Q: What’s some advice you’d give to someone who is considering being a part of the team?
Truly be yourself! A lot of the “good behaviors” you’ve been taught in Corporate America aren’t the norm here, and we want to get to know the real you rather than a Mon-Fri facade.
Q: What makes your Monday awesome?
I’ve gotten approval to dedicate 100% focus on Mondays to a passion project of mine, a totally revamped HR Dashboard. Even going so far as to allow me to work from home to eliminate distractions. That makes Mondays pretty awesome to me!
