But it looks pretty, it has to work!
Several members of the team recently went to the Marketing Sherpa email conference in Vegas and came away with something that resonated well with us:
“Testing validates artful expression.”
I’m guilty of it. You’re guilty of it. You launch a test, but you still have a tiny voice in your head that says, “but it’s pretty, it has to work.” But you’re wrong, and the test fails. No matter how artistic, beautiful, whatever it might be, testing is necessary to make it resonates with your customers needs.
